About Chateau Tour Du Cauze 2012 St. Emilon Grand Cru

A beautiful Chateau with well-situated hillside vineyards in St. Emilion. Robert Parker said "readers take note, de Caze is making better and better wines". This is the second wine of the estate, produced from the younger vines. 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, it aged 12 months in French oak barrels. It was awarded a Silver Medal in the Concours de Lyon. and shows herb-tinged black currant and black cherry with hints of oak. Medium bodied and beautifully balanced it will offer enjoyment now and over the next 5-8 years.
