About L'Oca Ciuca 2015 Toscana IGT

The L'Oca Ciuca (Drunken Goose) estate is a property owned by a partnership with famous Italian enologist Alberto Antonini, who has headed up winemaking at such iconic Tuscan estates as Col D'Orcia, Frescobaldi and Antinori. The estate covers 150 acres on Southwest facing slopes in the Chianti DOC. The winemaking is all overseen by Antinori and this wine continues to over-deliver vintage after vintage. This 2015 is again a "Best Buy" in Wine Enthusiast Magazine who said "Made with 40% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 30% Syrah, this informal red has subdued aromas of strawberry and orange peel. The easygoing palate offers red plum and a hint of brown spice alongside soft tannins. Enjoy soon."
