Extremely Limited!!Brookdale Vineyards Cabernet is a limited production wine made with hand-selected grapes from some of Napa Valley's finest vineyard sites. This 2004 is the first Brookdale Cab to use grapes from their Three Daisies vineyard on the Silverado trail. 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Merlot aged in French oak for 18 months. I served the Brookdale Cabernet with pan-seared venison medallions with a black currant-dijon sauce and it was an absolute winner! Delicious, balanced & smooth - the wine's notes of black currant and other dark berries worked really well with the dish. Yum!
