Unlike most of the wine produced in France's Loire River Valley Bourgueil is red. Made from 100% Cabernet Franc this wine is from vineyards in a small valley in Restign� known as Beauregard which used to belong to the St Martin's church. I have never had a Cabernet Franc before and was positively impressed. It has a very different taste from other grapes I have sampled but I really like it very much. I will have it again and again.
