This subscription was a gift that my sisters and I gave to my father upon his retirement. When his first shipment arrived we were all very excited and my father wanted us to share one of the bottles with him. Based on the write up and what we were having for dinner we selected the Teriate-Chapoutier 2006 Shiraz/Viognier. I was completely embarassed when when we finally opened the wine. The smelly was overtly earthy almost to the point of decay, the taste was unfulfilling in the mouth and had an after taste we couldn't at first place. After a few sips my father finally figured it out Robitussin. You can only imagine my disgust. We haven't opened any of the other bottles yet, but given that this was the highest "WEX" rating I can only guess at the appalling flavors that await him in the next bottle. I am completely disappointed in the company and the wine.
