A very good wine at a good price that is ready to drink right now or could age a few more years. Buy one for now and one for the cellar. Lots of sweet fruit tones make this wine good with chocolate or fruit, but its relative complexity and nice finish mean that it works well with beef, game, poultry, seafood, etc. I buy this wine often.

This wine is a very good every day type of cab. Opens nicely in a relative short time with wonderful aromas. Not as big as some Napa cabs but certianly a very good specimen in its own right. I will certianly buy this wine again.

The wine is very nice on the nose (wild berries) but tasts to alcoholic and thin. Not much body and berry flavors are of a much lower level and that makes this wine completely overprized. This wine should not cost more then USD 10 to USD 15 per bottle.

This wine is very good, but not great. I don't think it could stand up to the "big boys" as some have suggested. However, the wine has an incredible nose - it actually does smell like chocolate covered cherries. The finish is very long too. The mouthfeel was very light and thin and I didn't find many complexities in it. This wine may be sourced from Insignia grapes, but this wine does not even come close to comparing with Insignia. The bottom line is that this wine is good for the price, but it's not a great wine.

I think that this is a big wine and will benefit for at least a few years of cellaring but if you can't wait, open it up for a few hours and enjoy! Never had it before but was intrigued by your comments about it having the same grapes as Insignia which is a real favorite. So, it will be interesting to see how it evolves in a few years.

Not being a fan of blind purchases, I took a look at these figuring at this price for a Napa Cab, it can't be that bad. Well, I'm glad I did because this is one solid wine for the price. Big, structured, and very flavorful Cabernet that I'd put up against many and at a much higher price point.

It has the same great character as many wines from the Howell Mountain area in Napa. It has a great mouth-feel and balance with flavors of cherries and chocolate. Already a new favorite and matches up well against cabs up to twice the price! Went back for a case after the trying the intial bottle.

This wine is a low end Caberbnet that is being marketed as a high end wine. This should sell for under $12.00 per bottle. It's equivelant to any low end priced cabernet from California.

My husband and I enjoyed this wine with a beef filet; we thought it was outstanding - especially considering the reasonable price! We also had a glass with a rich, flourless (bittersweet/dark) chocolate dessert; it's mocha/dark cherry flavor was a perfect complement!

This is a classic, bold, California Cab that could hold its own with any of the $100 bottles (Dominus, Caymus, Silver Oak, etc.). Perfect to keep on hand for impressing guests, or just to have around when you want an amazing wine on Tuesday with takeout but are afraid to spend a lot of money!

This wine was very complex and well-balanced. It had great fruit flavors and also had a coffee note that I liked a lot. We had it with flank steak and the match was heavenly.
