This wine has the word 'Trinity' in its name and in fact there are three remarkable things about it. The first is that it tastes SO good. The second is that the fruit really does come from California and the third is the unbelievable price. We haven't tasted a value Pinot this good from California in long time. Because of limited availability many California wineries were reduced to sourcing Pinot from Southern France ...

Comments about Trinity Oaks 2007 Pinot Noir, California:

Value pinots are tough to find and at this price it was worth a try. Unfortunately this was not a winner. Definitely does not taste like a typical CA pinot. Perhaps it has been blended down with something else. The search continues.

Comments about Trinity Oaks 2007 Pinot Noir, California:

I am not a wine snob but I do know that a good Pinot Noir is going to cost. This one, hands down, was delicious and almost perfect level of sweetness to it. I have only tasted 3 vintages of P.N. and this one comes closest to what this beginner imagines a good P.N. to taste like. Great tase and really nice price. Try some!!!

Comments about Trinity Oaks 2007 Pinot Noir, California:

I do NOT have the pallate of a connoisseur!!! I have tasted some Pinot Noir that has been too acidic and some that has been "almost" perfect (for MY taste.) I think that since I'm not an expert on wine, that I would gift this to a Family member, Friend, and, oh yes EVEN my in-laws. (I call them "The outlaws") I would suggest that for every glass consumed should be followed by a glass of water. FANTASTIC VALUE!!!

Comments about Trinity Oaks 2007 Pinot Noir, California:

Have had this twice. First in a generic glass and the second in a Reidel Pinot Noir glass. Big differance. The glass really made the wine much better. Was kind of pedestrian in the generic glass. Either way for the price a good buy.

Good as a daily drinker, especially for those who don't care for the tannins in a bigger red. This is not a "big red," but then Pinot Noir isn't meant to be a big red.
