An absolute beast of a wine! A deep, profound nose that pulls you in & doesn't let go. Full-bodied on the palate but incredibly structured & balanced. Its as if this wine was built piece by piece. If you drink it now be sure to decant it according to personal taste. The great 2001 vintage ensures that this beauty will be drinking well for another 10 to 15 years. The perfect bottle for the serious collector or for the beginner who wants to spoil themself with one of the truly great old-world wines.
