Two bottles into the case we have enjoyed it more than I expected. I felt that Penny Lane was as good a wine as it was a good value.

I have purchased wine at the same price point that was disappointing- but Penny Lane left me hoping for more.

This wine drinks well for it's price point. Minimal tannins present, a nice clean finish, nice fruit, a good everyday wine to have on hand or pop open with some friends. I entered it in a tasting contest with 20 other "value" wines and it brought home first place for taste.

This was a great surprise because I was not expecting too much. It proved to be an easy drinking wine for a casual weekday meal. Paired well with a simple pasta and tomato sauce, also was great with burgers off the grill.
