For a light bodied wine, this Cab/Merlot blend has a lot to offer. Pleasant aromas of plum, cherry and fig give way to a smooth and easy drinking wine. Great for an everyday wine and at this price it's tough to find a better value from this region.

This wine was identified as the "Best Buy Wine of the Year" for 2009. I was disappointed. It was better after it was allowed to breath for 30-45 minutes but it continued to be harsh and without out any quality flavor of fruit, spice or otherwise. I will put the remaining bottles down for 6 months or so and see if it gets any better.

This wine is an excellent Bordeaux at a very reasonable price. I have drunk alot of 2005 Bordeaux, a year that produced some of the best Bordeaux in a while. This one ranks at the top, particularly for the price. Honestly it's worth 2 or 3 times what you pay.

Not a very bold wine, but it is clean and balanced with smooth tannins. Goes great with a simple weeknight meal. Agree with some others that for about $11, this is a great value. Don't think this will age well so drink now through next year.

Not to overpower any comments from wine connoisseurs who may be better judges than me...I have to agree that the value of this wine far exceeded my expectation. This 2005 Bergerac wine is undervalued.

This wine is quasi undrinkable. I don't know if I got a bum bottle or what, but I feel like the best use for this wine is in salad dressing.

It paired well with salmon and grilled chicken for a 4th of July festival. IT took a while to open and I thought it was tight at first, perhaps a wile in the cellar would round the wine out a bit more. Once it sat around and we got to eating chocolate however it really blossomed. Paired with dark chocolate it really shined. 3 stars today could be more in a few years when I open the other bottle I bought

Not a bad wine, but I felt there was not much there. I'll give it a little while and try again, but this will be a nice wine to have with a casual dinner - nothing special. Worth the price paid.

This wine has a strong crushed floral nose. Taste hints of cherries, strawberries and dark chocolate. It covers the tongue with balanced but tamed tannins, acidity and has a nice aged oak barrel flavor with a really nice smooth finish. Recommended with pastas (Red and Oil based sauces)Cheese platters,bready foods, and chocolate covered fruits. For the price this wine is a homerun. Also, I especially like the romantic aspect of it being from Bergerac!! :o)

This was an excellent wine for our evening with other wine lovers. We did not purchase enough of this wonderful wine for everone to get their fill at our Vineyard Murder Mystery Dinner. They wanted more but we moved on to other selections.

Great balance and depth of flavor. I usually let a bottle settle for 2 weeks after shipment, but I tried this after 1 week of resting. I found it to be an outstanding value. I'd serve this wine proudly to any guest and the price almost qualifies it as a "daily drinker".
