Comments about Zeni 2007 Marogne, Valpolicella Ripasso:

this is now my favorite wine, I have nevere found a wine purchased in US that taste as good as the ones you get in Italy. This is special wine, smooth and yet a delight to have with meals or after. I have given it to friends and they all say they love it too. This will be on my purchase list again. Cou;d not find any faults.

I really wanted to LIKE this wine, but..

Comments about Zeni 2007 Marogne, Valpolicella Ripasso:

I really wanted to like this Repassa, but have had many more at this price or a few dollars lower that I prefer such as Zanato. It did not have the fruit richness ... maybe it was the youth of the bottle or the vintage? At the same money, that is,[$],I found a 2002 and 2004 Amarone at [...]...believe it or not!!...that knocked my socks off. I bought 2 cases!! Gave some as gifts as it had the cool plastic wrappers around the bottles. So, while I fancy myself a Repasso connaisseur, I wished for more on this one. I would certainly not call it a bad wine, but only a good wine. You can do better though.

Comments about Zeni 2007 Marogne, Valpolicella Ripasso:

I'm a big fan of Amarone wines, but can't afford to drink them very often. This lush, well-priced wine can be your every-day house wine...OR...it's good enough to give as a gift or even serve at your next dinner party. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Definitely will buy more!!

Comments about Zeni 2007 Marogne, Valpolicella Ripasso:

My wife and I enjoy a glass of wine with dinner. We both like Valpolicella and when this one became available we thought we would give it a try. After our first taste of Zeni 2007 Marogne, Valpolicella Ripasso we were hooked. We liked it so much that I bought an additional case for our wine rack.
