Very smooth wine. suprised by the price, its a lighter version of a brunello. I enjoyed it more in fact that my Banfi Brunello. Just lighter in taste.

I drank a bottle with my girlfrind. We decanted it for 20 mins before drinking our first glass. The wine was a outstanding partner to the red sauce pasta with meat sauce.

This wine had depth and complexity reminding me of Brunellos at 1/2 to 1/4 the price. We visited Tuscany in 2005 so it was nice to drink a wine of that vintage.

Pros:
None
Cons:
Harsh, Thin
Best Uses:
Weeknight

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Nothing full bodied about this wine. It is thin and green tasting - almost made my mouth pucker. There are better Rossos out there for this price.
