Beaune-Greves, 1er Cru 2007 Domaine Tollot-Beaut
The Domaine Tollot-Beaut is a very famous family-owned estate located in Chorey-Les-Beaune. Focusing primarily on red wines they have extensive vineyard holdings, many with old vines, in the Cote de Beaune. Wine Spectator scored this Premier Cru 90 points saying "A fresh, pure cherry flavor gets support from fine tannins and bright acidity in this elegant red, which is supple and juicy, with hints of spice and mineral adding depth. This has excellent balance and a lingering finish. Best from 2012 through 2022." Extremely Limited!

    I was saving this for when friends came to the house, but I opened the first bottle on a Thursday night just to try it. It has a great clear, color and bouquet. We had it with dinner with chicken in a light tomato sauce. It paired extremely well. I also enjoyed it with a mild cheese and crackers.
