Pouilly Fuisse 2009 Domaine J. A. Ferret
Ferret was established in 1760 and was one of the first properties in Pouilly-Fuissé to bottle its own wines, starting more than 60 years ago. Managed by Colette Ferret since 1993, The Domaine was just purchased by Louis Jadot. The Wine Spectator said about this 2009 "bordering on viscous in texture, this open-knit white offers peach, honey and grapefruit notes, lingering then fading gracefully. Very pure. Drink now through 2014." Limited!

    A rich, smooth Pouilly Fuisse, that has a long finish. We enjoyed it with both chicken and scallops. It is more full-bodied and has a great mouth feel. The color is light but the flavor of fresh fruit is full.
