Signorello 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley |
 |
Signorello has estate vineyards along the Silverado trail in the heart of Napa Valley and they've been producing first quality Napa wines for over 20 years now. Only 381 cases were produced of this 2009 estate Cabernet. A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Cabernet Franc. It was aged for 20 months in 52% new Troncais, Nevers and Alliers Oak barrels. Racked every 6 months, the wine was not filtered prior to bottling. Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored this Cab 95 points saying "Massive in chocolate, blackberry, blueberry and cherry jam intensity, this is a brilliant wine, so delicious you want to drink the whole bottle. The inclusion of Cabernet Franc in the blend may be partly responsible for its accessibility, for it’s just wonderful to drink now, despite fine, firm tannins. Give it some decanting, and then watch as it changes in the glass with every sip." Limited!!
