||Silver Oak 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Silver Oak is the standard bearer for Napa Valley Cab. Because Silver Oak only produces Cabernet Sauvignon from California's two best Cabernet microclimates, their wines are consistently outstanding and complex, brimming with ripe cassis flavors, carefully seasoned with toasty new oak. This Napa Valley bottling from the 2009 vintage is 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. The wine was aged 24 months in 100% new American oak barrels. After oak aging the wine is bottle aged for an additional 20 months to allow the tannins to soften and the flavors to become interwoven, revealing a complex, silky elegance that's the unmistakable hallmark of this iconic Napa Cab. No scores yet but it's clearly another gem, so grab some to enjoy now and to cellar for future enjoyment, while it's ON SALE!!!!
