Corton-Charlemagne 2007 Louis Latour

Famous Grand Cru White Burgundy. The vineyard of Corton-Charlemagne is situated in the prime area of the hillside of Corton where its southeasterly aspect ensures maximum exposure to the sun. The fruit is harvested as late as possible to guarantee maximum ripeness. This 2007 scored 93 points from Burghound and 93 point in the Wine Spectator who said "A toasty white, with a vivid structure and warm baking spices framing apple and grapefruit flavors. The racy structure is offset by a creamy texture, and this resonates on the lingering finish. Best from 2014 through 2024." This is a limited lot just in from the Louis Latour Cellars.
