Here's another one of these interesting red blends that packs a lot of punch for the price. The soft and supple black currant and floral notes from the Merlot are well balanced with the black cherry and cassis from the Cab and the brambly berries from the Zin. It's a big wine but not overpowering as it stays smooth on the palate through the finish.

Brought it over for a Thanksgiving get together. Everybody enjoyed the nice flavors of the wine, but they did notice the thin texture of it. Good for the price.

  I would not hesitate to serve this at a wedding. It is well rounded enough to pair with many foods and is a good sipper for those guests that choose to drink wine for the entire reception.
