About Our Ratings

Carlton Cellars 2007 Pinot Noir, Roads End, Oregon
Carlton Cellars produces very small lots of high quality Oregon Pinot Noir. This 'Roads End' is their flagship wine and one to be proud of. The grapes are sourced from three vineyards, each in a different microclimate- Eola Hills, Dundee Hills and Yamhill-Carlton. Aged 10 months in 50% new French oak, this wine shows richness, depth and complexity. Two- plus years of bottle age have added dimension and an enticing earthiness to the bright raspberry overtones. Only 740 cases were produced so it's very limited. Get it while it's on sale.

Comments about Carlton Cellars 2007 Pinot Noir, Roads End, Oregon:

Great Pinot. Typical spice yet creamy. The longer it was open, the better it got. No tannins but the age helped with that. Cherry fruit taste.
