Love this wine for anytime. Love the finish, slightly acidic and the right amount of tannins. I enjoy this wine just by itself, as a fine wine to sip and savour before dinner.

This is a surprisingly vibrant yet complex wine for the price. It's loaded with dark, black fruits up front but has gentle nuances of licorice and lavender. It's a little astringent in its youth but really opened up quickly allowing the tannins to mellow. Rates high on the QPR scale.

The Malblec is a French wine with the grapes grown as far back as the Roman Age. This appealed to me, a well-known French wine at a marvelous price point (although some people when they think of Malbec think of Argentina). Most snobby "connoisseurs" it seems favor red wines. I personally gravitate to Rosés, Whites, Sparkling and Dessert Wines myself.

Immediately on the nose you get lots of spicy mixtures. A very complex aroma. That provides a long, slightly acidic taste on the palate. I loved the spicy notes that came through. It was very nice. I am more sensitive to acidic flavors which I do not like, especially if strong. Others feel that some stronger acidic taste NOW is a must. For those in that camp, they will love this wine right out of the bottle with it's nice spice laden overtones.

Personally, I enjoyed the bottle. If I buy another, I will probably age it several years. The possibility of the acidity and harshness toning down into a fine, long finishing, spicy French wine is very appealing to me.

As a last comment, the color will not be a disappointment. It is a nice purple color making a bit unique for "red wines".

This is a terrific wine for the price. What astonish me was the suppleness, it grabs your attention. Is also chewy, berries, long finish. A nice surprise for me who's accostumed to Argentinian Malbec's.

The video tasting done by Josh Farrell sent to me on 10/04/2012 via email is what convinced me totally to take a chance and purchase a case. It sounded like everything I love in a Malbec and loved it even more after purchasing and using my Vinturi Aerator with this wine. So!!! Good!! Hard to drink anything else. I bought another case already and I have influenced another friend to purchase their own case as well. They love it too. Thnx for the great wine!
