Tenuta Polvaro in the Veneto is an estate that dates back to the 1600's. The De Zan family, makers of the Candoni wines, now owns it and they produce wines that are traditional in character but modern in style like this ripe, succulent Pinot Grigio. Grapes come from their estate vineyards and are vinified to express the delightful character if this compelling grape variety. The Beverage Testing Institute called it a Best Buy and said "Pale golden color. Lemon, nectarine and melon aromas with a silky, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a crisp and green apple and earth accented finish. Nice."
