Sao Pedro 2000 Vintage Port
The best vintage in the last ten years, 2000 ports have intensity, richness, quality and ageability that makes them highly collectible. This Vintage 2000 from Sao Pedro is powerful and complex with cherry, licorice and spice notes. Not quite at it's peak, give it 2-4 years in your cellar for the real elegance to emerge. Awarded a Gold Medal from Decanter Magazine for their World Wine Awards in 2004 and wine critic Robert Parker rated this wine 90 points, saying: "Possessing the vintage's saturated ruby/purple color as well as an accessible, jammy personality with considerable sweetness, medium to full body, and outstanding purity, this delicious 2000 port should...last for 12-20 years."

    I would say tis was a very sweet port that I would compare to a under $20 non-vintage port. Not very deep at all, I would say I wasted my money for it's price.

      The wine was very sweet and showed no depth at all. I would compare it to a every day Port in the $18 range. I would not recommend this one.
