Ferrari Carano 2009 Chardonnay, Tre Terre, Russian River Valley
The fourth vintage of their new collection of Russian River Valley “Vineyard Select” Chardonnays — the Ferrari-Carano 2006 Tre Terre Chardonnay is a terrior-driven. Six different vineyard sites with 11 Chardonnay clones are selected and each lot is separately barrel fermented then aged on the lees for 15 months. This 2009 scored 90 points by Wine Spectator who said "Fresh citrus orchard blossom scents, with subtle tangerine and nectarine flavors that smooth out on the finish, ending with a fleshy texture and solid backbone. Drink now through 2018"

              I ordered this wine along with two others. the others arrived, but this one which was back ordered and supposed to ship when it came in was marked as "cancelled" on the invoice. I have tried caling and emailing customer service to get further clarification but have received no response regarding why it was cancelled or whether it is ever expected to arrive. note: I have provided an excellent rating because a rating is required for this posting and reviews I have read of the wine have been uniformly excellent.
