Number 97 on the Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines of 2011 AND the only white burgundy on the entire list!!

Philippe Colin, in a relatively short amount of time has become one of Burgundy's most sought after white wine producers. From his modest vineyard holdings in Chassagne-Montrachet he turns out scintillating wines filled with verve, tension, expression and distinction. This Premier Cru Les Chenevotte is one of those wines. 93 pints form the Wine Spectator who also felt it had enough "je ne sai quoi" to merit selection to the Top 100 list. They said "An enticing combination of peach, ripe apple, lime blossom and hazelnut aromas and flavors, this delicate and racy white leaves a mouthwatering impression on the finish, picking up a mineral note on the long aftertaste. Best from 2012 through 2023." Extremely limited!
