Vouvray 2010 Dom. Le Peu de la Moriette, J.C. Pichot
Jean-Claude Pichot's family is one of the oldest in Vouvray, with origins as viticulturists and restaurateurs dating back to 1739. Their estate vineyards, the Domaine le Peu de la Moriette has expanded over the years from thirty to just over fifty acres of hillside vineyards. The Wine Spectator said about this 2014 "Plump and forward, with soft-edged pear, green fig and quince notes that linger easily on the rounded finish. Fruit-driven and slightly off-dry, but fresh. Drink now."
