Fontanella 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, Mt. Veeder

Only 650 cases of this intense mountain Cabernet were produced. From a small winery owned by winemaker Jeff Fontanella and his wife. Jeff learned at Opus One and ZD and now he consults, but this wine is his primary focus. The Wine Spectator scored it 92 points saying "Pure, ripe, intense and concentrated, this is structured with firm, minerally tannins, gaining depth and offering peppery currant, ripe plum and wild berry notes. Ends with firm tannins and a graphite edge. Best from 2010 through 2017." Very limited!!
