Chianti Classico Riserva 2006 Castello di Querceto
In Italian “querceto” means oak grove, which is where the Castello di Querceto got its name. Nestled in a high valley near Greve in the Chianti Classico zone, the castle, which dates back to the 15th century, is surrounded by a grove of oak trees. Wine production is a legacy here and quality is a tradition. This Riserva is a superior quality wine on all levels. The Wine Advocate scored it 90 points ad said "Full-bodied and really beautiful, showing floral, currant and plum aromas, silky tannins and a fresh finish. Drink now."
