Clos du Bois 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, North Coast |
 |
Clos du Bois founder Frank Woods recognized the potential of Sonoma County as a world-class wine growing region, and Clos du Bois has been making outstanding wines for more than three decades. Grapes are sourced from premier vineyards in Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino Counties for this 2010 Cabernet with about 75% from Sonoma. A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Carignane, 1% Petite Sirah, aged 15 months in French and American oak. Woods' vision was to marry California's rich, forward fruit with a French style elegance and that's exactly what this 2010 Cab achieves.
