Located in Peñafiel, in the heart of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, Wine Enthusiast Magazine's European Wine Region of the Year! Combining traditional methods with state-of-the-art technology to produce modern and complex wines from the Temkpranillo grape. The grapes for Resalte Crianza come from vineyards 30 years or older. These vineyards yield high quality, concentrated fruit. The wine is aged 15 months in 80% French, 20% American oak, one third new. This 2005 has reached a peak of drinkability. Wine Spectator scored it 94 points saying "Fresh and focused, this firm red delivers ripe black cherry and blackberry fruit, backed by espresso and licorice accents, finishing with alluring notes of sous-bois and mineral. Offers depth and drive. Drink now through 2016." Limited!
