In a fairly short amount of time Fattoria La Lecciaia has become one of the most consistent producers of Brunello di Montalcino. Follow traditions but using modern methods they make estate Brunello from their 36 acres of Sangiovese Grosso vines. 2007 was yet another outstanding vintage and a limited quantity of this rich, intense Sangiovese was produced from the best lots of the 2007 vintage. Aged an additional 2 years as proscribed by the DOCG, it received rave reviews including 95 points from James Suckling who said "A wonderful wine with vibrant fruit and acidity with hints of toasted oak, leather, chocolate and plum character. Full and silky with a pretty finish. Drink or hold." On Sale for a limited time.
