Perhaps the most collectible Pinot Noir in America, Beaux Freres has set a standard that few can match. A partnership between renowned wine critic Robert Parker and his brother-in-law, the winery produces only Pinot Noir. The Willamette Valley cuvée features fruit grown on select vineyard
sites in Yamhill County. The wine benefits from the same integrity in the winemaking process as the estate wines. The sites are farmed sustainably and managed to very low yields. It was aged in the same French oak barrels used in the estate bottling, however the percentage of new oak is intentionally lower. This cuvée consists of wine made from the following vineyards: Zena Crown, Beaux Frères, Gran Moraine and Upper Terrace. And as always it is bottled unfined and unfiltered. The Steve Tanzer' International Wine Cellar this scored this 91 points saying "Dark ruby. Highly perfumed aromas of blackberry and candied cherry are complemented by suggestions of lavender and licorice. Broad and fleshy on the palate, offering weighty dark berry and ripe cherry flavors and a touch of bitter chocolate. Expands and deepens on the finish, which features supple tannins and suave floral pastille qualities."
