The Torres Family have been producing exceptional wine from the Penedes region of Spain for generations. Their historic single vineyard, Mas Borrás, is located in the coolest area of the Upper Penedès (Santa María de Miralles) at an altitude of 1600 feet above sea level. It's ideal for growing Pinot Noir. This 2010 scored 92 from the Wine Advocate who said "The 2010 Mas Borras is pure Pinot Noir from a warm and challenging vintage for this capricious grape from a 10-hectare vineyard planted in 1986 in a high-altitude zone and cooler climate region of Penedes. It displays an intoxicating nose of ripe raspberries and flowers intermixed with subtle notes of smoke and sweet spices and a light to medium-bodied palate with polished, round and velvety tannins and a very pleasant aftertaste of strawberry jam with good freshness thanks to the acidity. This is a very successful Mediterranean Pinot Noir, not something easy to find. Drink now-2017." Extremely Limited!!
