With a Gold Medal in the San Francisco International Wine Competition and a Platinum Medal in the San Diego International Wine Competition it's clear that this super Central Coast Pinot is over-delivering in a big way!! And we know why. The grapes for this value Pinot were sourced primarily from the single Saramento Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. These are grapes that used to go into the Sequana Saramento Vyd. Pinot which sold for $40+. That wine has been discontinued and this wine is the beneficiary. Enjoy the lush cherry and bright berry character surrounded by toasty, vanilla oak nuances. This is a ripe layered Pinot that's worth well more more than its modest price tag. Don't miss it.
