Working closely with vine grower Gianluigi Righetti and winermakers Giorgio Rinaldi and Gianluigi Righetti this Amarone Classico is a collaboration between the Marchiorello Family and wine industry experts. This wine is a blend of Corvina (80%), Corvinone and Rondinella grapes. The grapes are carefully dried on straw mats, allowing the sugars to concentrate and the flavors to expand. Fermentation was slow and long, allowing the sugars to covert to alcohol, resulting in an intense but fully dry wine. The wine was then aged in oak casks for 36 months and subsequently in the bottle to achieve a long, complex palate that is soft and beautifully balanced.
