Greystone Cellars 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, California
The Culinary Institute of America and Markham Vineyards brings you Greystone Cellars, an everyday wine that pairs well with a variety of foods to enhance your culinary experience. The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is a private, non-for-profit college dedicated to providing the world’s best professional culinary education. Their list of alumni reads like a who's who of the country's most successful chefs and restaurateurs. And of course Markham Vineyards is a renowned Napa Valley winery that excels at producing wines that over deliver for their price points. This is an exciting collaboration, Markham Vineyards winemaker Kimberlee Nicholls works directly with CIA personnel to sculpt a wine that hits all the right notes while being an ideal complement to food. This Cab is stainless steel fermented and then aged just 4 months in oak. It has lively blackberry, vanilla and jam aromas that give way to a lush, juicy palate loaded with sweet berry fruit. And as designed, it's approachable, easy to drink, and will enhance the culinary experience of any meal at which it is served. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Greystone Cellars wines will benefit The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone.
