McManis Family Vineyards started in 1990 growing premium wine grapes mainly in the Lodi region of California. Seven years later they started to produce and bottle wine from their estate grapes and the rest is history. The quality for the price was top notch and still is today. This Zin is sourced from the family's 2700 acres of premium, sustainably farmed vineyard land. Fermentation is in temperature controlled stainless steel. Then the wine was then aged, on average, for 4-6 months with a combination of new and used, French and American Oak. This wine received a "Best Buy" in Wine Enthusiast Magazine, a Gold Medal in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competion and it received a Gold Medal, 95 points in the California State Fair Wine Competition.
