Famous Grand Cru White Burgundy. The vineyard of Corton-Charlemagne is situated in the prime area of the hillside of Corton where its southeasterly aspect ensures maximum exposure to the sun. Louis Latour is one of the most renowned producers of this exceptional wine. The fruit is harvested as late as possible to guarantee maximum ripeness. 2013 was a very high quality vintage but a very small one so production is limited on this bold Grand Cru. Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored this 95 points and James Suckling scored it 97 points saying "OMG. This is so layered and dense with dried pineapple and apple. The concentration and depth is amazing. Full-bodied and dense plus super fruit. This is less than one fourth of the production. A crazy white. Drink, if you can find it."
