Perhaps the most celebrated producer in Germany's esteemed Mosel Valley, Johann Joseph Prum produces outstanding single vineyard Rieslings critics praise and collectors can't get enough of. This wine from the famed Graacher Himmelreich vineyard in the Mosel River Valley is a luscious, sweet wine. Auslese translates to "out picked" meaning the Riesling grapes are individually selected for ripeness and quality. Wine Spectator scored this 95 points saying "Vivid and pure-tasting, with a well-structured array of mineral, peach, citrus and savory spice notes that are tightly wound. Still, this is quite airy, especially on the impeccable finish of lime and nectarine. Best from 2015 through 2038."
