Here's an incredible value from a winery that's a two-time recipient of Food & Wine Magazine's, American Wine Award for their Cabernet and they continue to overachieve with every new vintage. Grapes for this 2015 were sourced from vineyards in Mt. Veeder, Coombsville, Oak Knoll and other prime locations throughout Napa Valley. A blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 2% Petite Sirah that's beautifully balanced. Aged in a combination of French and American oak, this 2015 is crafted to yield an intense, deeply colored wine with concentrated aromas and flavors. The wine is approachable and full of dark cherries and black currants with notes of spicy cedar, sandalwood and coffee. It has a modest 13.8% alcohol but the best thing about this mouthwatering Napa Cab is the unbelievable price. Don't miss it.
Good job by Twenty Rows for upping their game the last couple of vintages... and this '15 follows suit. Classic Napa Cab nose of black cherry, cassis and vanilla leads to a plush mouthfeel and lots of rich, ripe fruit. One of the best at this price point.
Decanted for 30 minutes before drinking. pleasant enough aroma of dark berries with a hint of vanilla. Taste evolved from oaky and minerals to fruity to a sour cherry candy then mocha finish. Looking forward to bottle #2
