This wine is a stunner and Parker just rated the overall 2015 vintage in Napa a huge 97 points! Greg La Follette who worked at BV under the "Dean of American Winemakers" Andre Tchelistcheff, is the winemaker and the grapes are sourced from select vineyards around Napa Valley including Oakville. A winning combination if ever there was one. A blend of 81% Caberent Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot, the lots were vinified separately and aged 18 months in French and American oak barrels. It shows bright berry fruit; blackberries, black currants, and hints of dark chocolate and brown spices. It's beautifully balanced and the finish lingers with cassis and vanilla. What's most impressive however is the incredibly affordable price! Now you can drink Napa Cab all the time!
