They produce this Red Reserva with traditional grapes from their estate vineyards. The blend is 50% Touriga Nacional, 25% Touriga Franca, 20% Tinta
Roriz and 5% Tinta Francisca aged 18 months in 70% French and 30% American Oak. Wine Spectator selected this as one of their Top 100 Wines of 2016. They scored it 91 points and said "Suave and rich, showing luscious sandalwood notes to the dried cherry and raspberry flavors. The creamy finish lingers with cocoa powder and white pepper accents. Drink now through 2020."
This walks a simply delicious line between power and elegance. A complex nose overflowing with dried red fruit, smoky cedar, tobacco and floral notes. This is silky and sexy on the palate with good acidity and supple tannins. Loading up on this one before it's gone!
