About Diora 2015 Pinot Noir, La Petite Grace, Monterey

Diora 'La Petite Grace" Pinot Noir is the latest creation from Delicato Family Wines, owners of the impressive San Bernabe Vineyard in Monterey county. This 2015 vintage features fruit from Block 202, San Bernabe Vineyards northernmost Pinot Noir block, which delivers a soft, elegant mouthfeel and ripe, red fruit aromas and flavors, while the larger balance of the blend integrates depth, structure and black fruit nuances from carefully chosen fruit sourced from the famed Santa Lucia Highlands. The wine aged 7 months in 87% French oak and 13% seasoned American oak. Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored this 91 points saying "This is a powerful Pinot Noir, jumping toward the nose with black raspberry and other dark fruits as well as strong cedar and caramel aromas. Thick raspberry and rounded cherry flavors show on the sip, which enjoys strong and compelling spice notes of clove, star anise and even some licorice. Pair with steak." The striking package with gold sealing wax is impressive enough, but wait til you taste what's in the bottle.
