Mollydooker wines were launched with the 2004 vintage and were an instant cult classic, producing broodingly rich, decadent offerings that are snapped up as quickly as they are put on the shelf. Gigglepot is a vibrant, elegant wine, full of personality. The balance and intensity of the 2016 Gigglepot allows the true personality of McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon to shine. The grapes were grown on the Rivers Lane vineyard in McLaren Vale. Barrel fermented and matured in 84% American and 16% French oak using 50% new and 50% one year old barrels. Wine Spectator just scored this 93 points saying "Opulent, with rich dark chocolate notes dripping over ripe plum, black cherry and raspberry flavors. Supple and creamy at the core, featuring plenty of details of vanilla bean, cinnamon and chai tea that create a powerful wave of flavor that lingers on the long, toasty and spicy finish. Drink now through 2028."
