Michael David's Head Winemaker Adam Mettler, who made this Zin was named Wine Enthusiast Magazine's Winemaker of the Year for 2018! The Catholic school upbringing of brothers Michael and David inspired the monikerfor this, their seductive Old Vine Zinfandel from the enviable Lodi Appellation where Zin reigns supreme. The Seven Sins were related to the seven Old Vine Zinfandels blended in the wine; 95% Zinfandel and 5% Petite Sirah aged 12 months in American oak.


Just awarded 93 points in the Ultimate Wine Challenge. They said "The wine unveils scents of strawberry jam, smoked plums, and roasted peppers. The palate follows with a spicy, cherry preserve and a hint of dried herbs. The finish is packed with juiciness but is not sweet." Solid Value!
