Anonymous 2013 Red Blend, 1849 Wine Co., Napa Valley

It tried to lay low but we found it!! Anonymous is a Napa Valley Red Blend that really should be anything but. The 1849 Wine Company created this blend as a tribute to an artist called Saber who keeps his real identity under wraps as he creates street art. Saber painted the largest ever public graffitti work on the banks of the Los Angeles River. His work shows a bold and colorful pallet and that's exactly what this wine brings in spades!

A rich blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Syrah, Merlot and Zinfandel, barrel aged in French and American oak, 50% new. Sourcing is from prime vineyards in Napa Valley and of course it's all from the 98 point 2013 vintage. Think Orin Swift or Paraduxx or one of the zestiest most luscious Napa blends you've ever enjoyed and you've got the idea.

It scored 91 points from Jeb Dunnuck who said "Anonymous spent 18 months in 50% new French and American oak. Plums, spice box, incense, and licorice notes, medium to full body, ripe tannin,  and  loads  of  Zinfandel  charm  all  emerge  from  the  glass.  It’s  well  worth drinking and should keep for 6-8 years."

And Vivino rates it 4.3 out 5 “Best Value for the Money”.
