Francis Ford Coppola's flagship Sonoma Cab, Archimedes is crafted from small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from prime Alexander Valley vineyards and produced in very limited quantity for the true connoisseur. This 2016 is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot aged 21 months in in 50% new French oak barrels. Less than 1000 cases produced.
The Wine Advocate scored this 92 points saying "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Archimedes has a medium to deep ruby-purple color with scents of dark chocolate, cassis, eucalyptus, turned earth and savory herbs with Morello cherries, pencil shavings and spice box nuances. Medium to full-bodied, it offers intense flavor layers, a plush texture and great freshness, finishing long."
