Arienzo, from Bodegas Herederos del Marqués de Riscal, is made from the selection of the best Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes from the vineyards located in Laguardia and Elciego. Once the grapes have been received in the winery when they reach their optimum point of maturity, the natural processes of alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation will start in stainless steel tanks, where they will be made under close temperature control conditions. After the fermentation process, the wine will be introduced in American oak barrels, for aging for a period of 18 months, after which, it will go to bottle, to continue aging.
This is a fresh, fruity wine with a pleasant mouthfeel, recalling red fruits interspersed with toast, coconut and vanilla. Broad on the palate and persistent on the finish. A terrific value!
