Hope Family Wines is still proudly family-owned and operated with Austin Hope now presiding over five unique labels: Liberty School, Austin Hope, Treana, Candor, and Troublemaker. Austin maintains the Hope family’s legacy of sustainable farming practices and long standing tradition of making delicious, reliable, and accessible wines, all while infusing a vibrancy that resonates from the vine to the glass. Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon stems from an endless fascination with the soils and diverse sub-regions of Paso Robles, where exceptional wines are being made. It also tells the story of the Hope family’s long history in the region. Grapes were sourced from small chosen blocks in the following AVAs of Paso Robles: Creston, Estrella, Adelaida, El Pomar and Geneseo Districts. The wine was aged 18 months in 75% new French oak barrels.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored this 96 points saying "Austin Hope’s rich house style crosses many grapes, but excels most reliably in his Cabernet Sauvignons. This bottling is very dark in the glass and extremely lavish with silky aromas of cassis, black cherry and caramel. The palate combines blackberry mousse, mocha and more caramel with a firm tannic structure and buoyant acidity."
