A family owned estate, Carlo took over his fathers estate in 1990, he purchased a new homestead and a cellar in La Morra in the Santa Maria district and named the estate “Carlo Revello e Figli” and Erik, Carlo’s eldest son, after having finished the school of oenology in Alba, is now working full time at the estate. The crus of Giachini and Rocche are part of this estate mature vines, some going back to 1957.
Fermentation and maceration with the skins in vertical fermenters for approx. 7-10 days. Malolactic fermentation in steel. The wine then matures in large Slavonian oak casks for 24 months. Finishing in the bottle for 6 months.
