From the Wagner family, lush Russian River Pinot Noir!
From Joseph Wagner, maker of Belle Glos and of course the family that created Caymus, comes their latest rich red. This is Russian River Valley Pinot Noir that's as bold and beautiful as anything you've tried before. Joe Wagner has cultivated many prime sources for fruit over the years and 2016 was an excellent vintage with high-quality and abundant fruit harvested. During fermentation both punch-down and pump-over techniques were used to ensure balanced extraction of flavor, aromatics, structure and color. To allow both the sweet and structural influences from the barrels to intermingle seamlessly with the rich fruit and ripe tannins of the wine, Böen was aged in 100% French oak, 60% new.

Wine Spectator scored this 91 points saying "This supple, graceful style pushes ripe blueberry and blackberry flavors to the front, with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon and black tea, making for an engagingly complex effort. Drink now through 2026."
